So Tumblr is being dumb and won’t upload the photo. I’ll try again later, but here’s this.

If you missed this gist of this entire enterprise, you can read the initial post here. The short of it is that I’m posting at least one record a day, in alphabetical order, and explaining its history and…

This really makes me happy. Mostly because I get emails from Atom every now and then. I hope it isn’t weird that I really enjoy getting emails from somebody who got me writing songs and playing music. I also really like the idea of going through a record collection and listening to music you probably don’t listen to on a daily basis.

First show! Thanks for everybody who came out.

Root Beer Rampage 2012

My adventure so far has been great. Toronto was a really cool place, I spent most of my time there playing Mario Kart 64, and eating awesome food from china town.  Jose and Peter are some of the nicest dudes. Peter also makes pickles so I was given a jar of pickles to take as emergency rations.

I am now in Ann Arbor, Michigan hanging out with Andrew of Sometimes I get Drunk Records. I met him when he came to Burlington with Peace Be Still of Toronto. He has put out really solid releases. I wish him the best with his record label and will always support it.

Sadly I was unable to go to Pie-Sci, which is a pizza place my friend Jeremy runs only on Sundays. If you are in Detroit on a Sunday afternoon. GO! He is a great dude, also his band is killer.

Today I am debating on where my travels will take me. I can hang out another day in Ann Arbor or go to Chicago. Either way I will be stopping by Kalamazoo to get root beer.

This is just the first part of the week long adventure.

*I NEED HELP!

My friend Will had to hop off this tour because for a few reasons, but I am still planning on making this happen. If anybody knows somebody that does shows in the * places, let me know.

I hope to see you on the road, and I will probably be eating pizza and/or ice cream. The world is going to end while I am on tour so why not go out with a pizza/ice cream party!

Basha Show.

I played a show at a hookah bar in Plattsburgh, NY. Once again with my good friends, Lie Captive and Tyler Daniel Bean.

Liam (never heard your last name):

this kid said he was very nervous about playing, but once he started in on that guitar it was hard to tell. He had pipes.

A Year in the Making:

These guys played a good set. They seemed to have a ton of energy.

Tyler Daniel Bean:

Dude Rips. That is about all I can say.

Lie Captive:

Played a set comparable to the show at the TWOB house in Philly. Comparable as in just as sweaty.

The Acoustic Set

My set went well. I played three new songs and told everybody the next time they see me playing it will be with a full band. Yea. exciting stuff.

Great Sky Captains,

About a week after I got home from my five weeks of swimming, driving, and drinking, I was asked to play a last minute show in Plattsburgh with Duck, Little Brother. Duck and Octaves. Unfortunately, it was too short notice to work out a backing band, but a great friend came away with three videos from my set. They have all been loaded into the mysterious television of Youtube, but I’ll be getting them up here over the course of the next week or so.

Keep an eye out. For now, here is forty seconds of me talking about nothing accompanied by Rootbeerlington.

Best,
Tyler
